End-to-End Quality Control

Quality control is based on the samples and specifications both sides have approved. We check against them at three points, samples, production and shipment; if we find a difference, we talk first, then decide how to handle it.

Basis
Approved samples & written specifications
Milestones
Samples, production, pre-shipment
Record
Inspection photos and check results

Three checkpoints, and what each checks

Check items and sample quantities are agreed in advance by product and order requirements.

Sample stage

Size, weight, fabric, color, logo and packaging confirmed and written into a specification.

During production

Following production progress, and checking first finished goods against the approved sample when needed.

Before shipment

Size, appearance, workmanship, logo, packaging and quantity spot-checked as agreed, with photo records.

Where problems tend to arise,
write it into the specification first.

These items cause the most disputes. Agree on the standard when approving samples, so there's something to check against at inspection.

Color difference
Agree an acceptable range against the approved sample and color code.
Size
State the allowed tolerance for each size.
Weight
State whether it's weight per square meter or weight per piece, and don't mix the two.
Packaging
Label content, unit packaging and quantity per carton checked against the approved sample.

How far inspection goes
is agreed in advance.

Every project has different inspection requirements; we do what's agreed and make no extra promises.

How we can help

  • Pre-shipment spot checks arranged against the approved sample and specification.
  • Inspection photos provided and any issues recorded.
  • When there's a difference, we explain it and agree rework or adjustments with the factory.
  • Working with the third-party inspection agency you nominate.

Confirmed per project

  • Sampling ratio and specific check items.
  • Whether third-party test reports (such as composition or colorfastness) are needed; cost and time are extra.
  • Inspection standard: agreed in advance per destination country or brand requirements.

Have your own acceptance standards?

If your hotel or brand has fixed inspection requirements, please send them with your inquiry, and we'll work to that standard.
